After graduating from Louisiana State University with a Masters in Education, and teaching in the Orleans Parish charter school network for eight years, Margie decided it was time for a change. Buying and renovating several properties in New Orleans, her favorite being her 1890s Victorian Side hall, inspired Margie to follow her calling and become a Realtor.
Using her background in education, Margie is able to educate home buyers find the perfect fit in a home by walking them through each step of the process with efficiency and ease. She listens to clients needs and makes decisions based off those needs. She believes clear communication and responsiveness is key in any transaction and nurtures all client relationships.
When it comes to listing and selling properties, Margie works tirelessly to get the property sold in a short time and at a competitive price. Putting herself in her sellers shoes is how Margie approaches selling a client's home or other property.
Working with investors allows Margie’s creative juices to flow. She enjoys researching properties and calculating clients return on investment. Watching a project grow from start to finish is very rewarding for Margie and her clients. Her ability to envision “what something could be” sets her apart.
When Margie isn't working with clients, she likes to spend time with her husband, travel, read, restore antique furniture, play with her dogs, cook, and drink wine. Her love for New Orleans culture, especially it's architecture, inspires her every day. She finds working amongst such beauty the most intriguing part of her work.
